As your baby grows stronger and gains neck control, you can switch to outward-facing — giving them the freedom to take in the world while staying safe and close.

What is an ergonomic baby carrier?

A well-designed ergonomic carrier keeps your baby in the natural “M-position,” with knees slightly higher than their bottom — ideal for healthy hip development. It should also evenly distribute weight to reduce strain on your body, with adjustable straps for a secure, personalised fit. Look for padded support and breathable materials to ensure all-day comfort for both you and your baby.

What is the age and weight limit for the Lune & Littles baby carrier?

Age Range: 0–36 months

Weight Range: 3.2–20 kg

This carrier is certified for use from birth up to 36 months, supporting babies from 3.2 kg to 20 kg. In the early months, ensure your baby has adequate head and neck control for safe and ergonomic carrying.

Please note that some newborns may need to wait till they are closer to 6 months to be perfectly comfortable in our carrier.

Is it possible to breastfeed whilst using the carrier?

Yes! The Little & Lunes carrier is designed to make on-the-go breastfeeding easy and discreet. Simply adjust the fit slightly for better access, and always ensure your baby’s airways are clear. After feeding, gently return them to an upright position for safe carrying.
